Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a CNC Programmer / Operator for a manufacturing company located in Etobicoke, ON. The ideal candidate should have
experience programming and operating Okuma CNC Lathe machines and working with live milling machines. Experience with GibbsCAM is preferred,
though Mastercam experience is also acceptable.
Key Responsibilities:
Program and operate Okuma CNC Lathe machines.
Work with live milling capability machines.
Operate machines with upper and lower turrets.
Create and modify programs using GibbsCAM (preferred) or Mastercam.
Set up tools, fixtures, and machine offsets.
Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
Maintain tight tolerances and ensure product quality.
Troubleshoot machining or programming issues when required.
Follow safety standards and maintain a clean workspace.
Requirements:
3 5 years of experience as a CNC Programmer / Operator.
Experience working with Okuma CNC lathes.
Experience with live tooling / live milling machines.
Knowledge of GibbsCAM or Mastercam.
Ability to read engineering drawings and machining specifications.
Strong attention to detail and quality.
