Description
The Integration & Data Architect, Marketing Systems will lead the technical architecture and data design to connect Monday.com with EMM/Unica and related marketing platforms. This role will define field mappings, shared identifiers, synchronization logic, API or middleware strategy, and data governance to ensure reliable movement of campaign and workflow data across systems. The position will support Monday.com as the operational workspace while maintaining EMM/Unica as the system of record for governance and financial oversight.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the architecture for integrating Monday.com and EMM/Unica
- Define system interaction patterns and data flows between platforms
- Establish shared identifiers, field mappings, transformation rules, and deduplication processes
- Define rules for record creation, updates, and status synchronization across systems
- Partner with business and platform teams to determine data ownership, timing of transfers, and system responsibilities
- Design error handling, exception workflows, audit tracking, and reconciliation processes
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, and platform owners during implementation
- Ensure integration design supports scalability, performance, governance, and reporting needs
- Document architecture decisions, integration logic, and technical dependencies
- Support testing, release planning, and post-launch stabilization
- Identify risks related to data quality, duplicates, sync failures, and reporting discrepancies
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience in systems integration, solution architecture, data architecture, or enterprise application design
- Experience integrating SaaS platforms, enterprise workflow tools, and marketing or campaign systems
- Strong knowledge of APIs, webhooks, middleware, ETL/iPaaS frameworks, and data mapping
- Experience with system-of-record design, identity management, deduplication, and synchronization logic
- Strong understanding of data governance, exception handling, and reconciliation practices
- Ability to translate business processes into technical architecture and integration solutions
- Experience working with both technical teams and business stakeholders
- Strong documentation and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Monday.com integrations
- Experience with Unica / EMM or similar marketing or campaign management platforms
- Background in marketing technology, campaign operations, or enterprise workflow transformation
- Familiarity with CRM, marketing automation, financial governance workflows, or work management platforms
- Experience delivering solutions within fast-paced implementation timelines

- Stable and governed data integration between Monday.com and EMM/Unica
- Reduced duplicate campaign records and manual data entry
- Clear and reliable campaign identifiers and synchronization rules
- Key campaign statuses visible in the appropriate system
