Automotive Technician – Volkswagen (VW)

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician with experience servicing Volkswagen vehicles to join our service department. The successful candidate will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles while ensuring high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on Volkswagen vehicles
• Perform maintenance and repairs on gasoline and diesel engines
• Service braking, suspension, steering, and drivetrain systems
• Troubleshoot engine performance, fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions components
• Use Volkswagen diagnostic equipment and manufacturer service software
• Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and scheduled service work
• Complete repairs according to Volkswagen manufacturer specifications
• Maintain accurate service documentation and repair records
• Ensure all work meets dealership quality and safety standards

Requirements

• Experience as an Automotive Technician / Automotive Service Technician
• Experience working with Volkswagen or other European vehicles
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using electronic diagnostic tools and scan equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Own professional tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Volkswagen dealership experience
• Automotive Service Technician certification or equivalent experience
• Experience servicing European vehicles (VW, Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benz)
