Automotive Service Advisor

We are seeking a professional and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our dealership service department. The successful candidate will act as the primary point of contact between customers and the service team, ensuring a smooth and efficient service experience from vehicle drop-off to delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assess vehicle service needs
• Prepare repair orders and clearly explain recommended services
• Communicate between technicians and customers regarding vehicle status and required repairs
• Provide accurate estimates for repairs and maintenance services
• Schedule service appointments and manage workflow in the service department
• Ensure customer concerns are documented and addressed properly
• Maintain regular communication with customers regarding service progress
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
• Maintain accurate service records and documentation

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Advisor, Automotive Service Consultant, or Customer Service Advisor
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle maintenance
• Ability to manage multiple customers and service orders simultaneously
• Strong organizational and administrative skills
• Valid driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous automotive dealership experience
• Experience using dealership management systems (DMS)
• Sales or service consulting experience in the automotive industry
