Waterhouse Mechanical is seeking a skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in commercial, industrial, and/or residential environments. This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures, piping, and equipment in accordance with applicable codes and standards.
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
Install and service water supply lines, drainage systems, valves, and fixtures.
Diagnose plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs and troubleshooting.
Conduct pressure tests and inspections to ensure system integrity.
Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades to ensure efficient project completion.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment while adhering to company safety policies and provincial regulations.
Complete required documentation, reports, and work orders.
Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentice plumbers when required.
Journeyman Plumber Certification (Red Seal preferred).
Minimum 3–5 years of plumbing experience in commercial, industrial, or construction environments.
Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, regulations, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Experience with installation and maintenance of water, gas, and drainage systems.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

Ability to lift heavy materials and equipment (up to 50 lbs).
Comfortable working in varied environments including construction sites, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions.
