Job description
Our client, a leading organization in the industry sector, is seeking a SAP ABAP BTP Developer to join their dynamic team. As a SAP ABAP BTP Developer, you will be an integral part of the IT department supporting innovative digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate adaptability, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: SAP ABAP BTP Developer

Location: Calgary, Alberta

What's the Job?

  • Design, develop, and deploy applications on the SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
  • Leverage SAP ABAP/4 and BTP services to create innovative solutions.
  • Automate build and deployment processes using CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient delivery.
  • Integrate SAP and non-SAP systems utilizing REST, OData, and event-driven patterns.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality solutions.
What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP/4 and ABAP on HANA development.
  • Hands-on experience developing applications on SAP BTP, including BAS, CAP, RAP, and Integration Suite.
  • Strong understanding of cloud application development, microservices, and API-driven architecture.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD workflows, Git-based version control, and automated deployment processes.
  • Experience with integrating SAP and non-SAP systems using REST, OData, or event-based patterns.
