We're looking for a Social & Community Manager who lives and breathes social media and genuinely gets
creator culture. This is the face of Alleyoop to our community — the person our affiliates, creators, and
customers hear from, engage with, and trust. You'll own our social presence, run our TikTok Shop creator
platform, manage our affiliate community, and bring our brand to life on TYB, our loyalty and community
platform.
This is a high-ownership role at a brand that moves fast. You won't be waiting for approval on every caption
— we want someone who can think, act, and engage like a real person who genuinely cares about the
brand and the people in it.
Social Media
- Own and post across Alleyoop's social channels — primarily TikTok and Instagram, with an eye on emerging platforms
- Respond to comments, DMs, and ad comments in real time; be the brand's voice in every interaction
- Engage authentically with our audience and the broader beauty community to build brand love
- Stay on top of trends and jump on moments quickly — memes, sounds, formats, whatever's working right now
- Collaborate with the team on content calendars and campaign rollouts, but know how to move independently
TikTok Shop Creator Platform
- Manage Alleyoop's TikTok Shop affiliate and creator marketplace end-to-end
- Recruit and onboard new creators — target of 200–300 new sign-ups per month• Brief creators on products, campaigns, and promotions; give them what they need to make great content
- Monitor creator performance, identify top performers, and help scale what's working
- Stay current on TikTok Shop best practices, algorithm shifts, and creator-led commerce trends
Affiliate & Creator Community
- Be the primary point of contact for our affiliate and creator community — you are the face of Alleyoop to these people
- Own and manage Alleyoop's creator Discord — keep it active, welcoming, and genuinely useful for creators
- Build real 1:1 relationships with creators through DMs, check-ins, and community calls
- Run engagement activities, challenges, and updates that keep the community tight
- Treat top creators like VIP partners — celebrate their wins, support their growth
- Identify and elevate high-potential affiliates who can grow with the brand long term
TYB Community Platform
- Own Alleyoop's presence on TYB, our loyalty and community platform, as the day-to-day manager
- Design and run coin-based challenges that drive real action — receipt uploads, reviews, social engagement, retail visits
- Coordinate TYB activations around product launches, retail moments (e.g. major retailer launches), and campaigns to build hype and social proof
- Manage Obsessions+, TYB's affiliate commission feature, to give community members a way to earn on sales they drive
- Keep evergreen challenges fresh, ensure new members always have something to do when they join, and track what's performing
- Work with the broader team to make TYB a meaningful part of every marketing push
Requirements
You're culturally plugged in. You use TikTok, you know what's trending before it trends, and you understand why some beauty content takes off while other content doesn't. You're energetic, warm, and the kind of person creators actually want to hear from. You're organized enough to manage hundreds of creator relationships without dropping the ball, but scrappy enough to figure things out on the fly.
Requirements
- 2+ years in community management, social media, creator partnerships, or affiliate marketing
- Deep familiarity with TikTok — creator culture, TikTok Shop, and how the algorithm works
- Experience managing or posting on brand social accounts (TikTok and/or Instagram)• Strong written voice — you write captions and DMs that sound human, not corporate
- Comfortable doing high-volume proactive outreach and managing many relationships at once
- Highly organized with a bias toward action
Nice to Have
- Experience in beauty, skincare, or lifestyle brands
- Familiarity with Discord community management
- Background in affiliate or influencer marketing programs
- Experience with loyalty or community platforms (TYB, Yotpo, Stamped, etc.)
- Experience briefing creators and supporting product launches
