Job description

Position Summary

The Office Manager in our Vancouver office will be the first person people will meet when they come to Tipalti and we want someone who is passionate about creating a great experience for our employees and people who come to visit.

Founded in Israel in 2010, Tipalti is a global business headquartered in the San Francisco Bay Area (Foster City) with offices in Tel Aviv, Plano, Toronto, Vancouver, London, Amsterdam, Tbilisi and Medellin.


In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Be the first point of contact in the office for visitors and colleagues
  • Organize, Plan and schedule office events (parties, happy hours, off site meetings, etc.)
  • Oversee administrative tasks (mail sorting and routing)
  • Monitor office supplies and ordering of supplies
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors, service providers and landlord
  • Provide general support to visitors
  • Maintain a safe and healthy working environment, ideally experienced with EHS programs
  • Oversight for provision of a food and beverage program
  • Responsibility for office security - access card administration
  • Responsible for a desk reservation system
  • Oversight of vendors for maintenance and cleaning

About you

  • Proven office management experience. Ideally 100+ people
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Organized, inquisitive, creative and friendly personality
  • Ability to address the needs of colleagues with professionalism and tact
  • Undeterred by a fast paced environment
  • Experience managing third-party vendors to keep the office clean, safe, fed and in good working order
  • Pro-actively ensure that team members have the office support that they need to be successful with their work

Base Salary Range: $68,000 - $76,000 CAD annually.
