The Department of Physical Sciences at Thompson Rivers University (TRU) invites applications for a 2-year Limited Term Contract faculty position in Chemistry at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor to commence July 1, 2026. TRU offers
The successful candidate could teach a second-year physical chemistry lecture and labs, first-year general chemistry lectures and labs, and organic chemistry labs not currently covered by faculty.
Candidates should have a strong background in general chemistry, laboratory instruction, and a commitment to excellence in teaching undergraduate chemistry, as well as experience in undergraduate curriculum development.
(or near completion).
Established teaching experience at the post-secondary level is an asset.
