As Quality Manager, you will be the person ensuring that standards are clear, processes are followed, and when issues appear they are investigated and solved properly. You will work closely with production teams, customer service, and leadership to keep quality consistent while finding ways to make systems stronger.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys digging into processes, mentoring teams, and building a culture where quality is not just a department but part of how everyone works.
Position Description
In this role you will guide the company’s quality program and help ensure every stage of production meets established standards.
- Maintaining and strengthening the organization’s quality management system
- Ensuring alignment with recognized quality standards and auditing practices
- Performing regular internal audits and identifying areas for improvement
- Investigating product concerns and leading corrective action initiatives
- Working with operations teams to refine processes and improve production outcomes
- Supporting employee training related to quality procedures and standards
- Monitoring finished goods to confirm they meet required specifications
- Tracking and reporting quality metrics to management
- Participating in production meetings to provide insight on quality performance
- Helping teams understand how their work contributes to the final product quality
Experience
We are looking for someone who brings practical experience from a manufacturing setting and understands how quality systems function on the production floor.
Ideal experience includes:
- Quality assurance or quality control within industrial manufacturing
- Experience with quality systems such as ISO frameworks
- Conducting internal audits and process evaluations
- Interpreting production data and quality metrics
- Working collaboratively with multiple departments to resolve issues
Experience within plastics or film manufacturing would be considered an asset.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, or a related discipline is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
- Analytical mindset with solid problem-solving skills
- Comfortable communicating with both production teams and leadership
- Ability to organize multiple quality initiatives at the same time
