Job description
Legal Assistant for 2 Partners | Commercial LitigationDowntown Montreal Are you passionate about litigation, highly organized, and want to be a true right-hand person for your bosses? Don't miss this opportunity to join a team of seasoned professionals! You will have the chance to assist two partners in their commercial litigation practice by providing support in the day-to-day management of their cases. You will also enjoy competitive compensation, the option to work remotely, and a full range of benefits (group RRSP, up to six weeks of vacation, telemedicine, etc.). YOUR ROLE:As a Commercial Litigation Legal assistant, your responsibilities will include:Preparing the usual litigation legal proceedings;Open and follow up on client files (vouchers, correspondences);Manage the lawyer's agenda and schedule various meetings (hearings, court sessions);Write, modify and revise legal documents and correspondence;Communicate, by email or telephone, with various stakeholders (clients, lawyers, witnesses, bailiffs). SKILLS REQUIRED:Litigation Legal Assistant experience;Good command of French and English (read, spoken, written);Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite;Strong organizational skills and priority management;Meticulousness and attention to detail.INTERESTED IN THIS CHALLENGE?
