Technical Representative, Inside Sales

Tasks

• Advise customers on the appropriate products for their application.
• Prepare and communicate quotations to customers.
• Answer customer questions and provide technical assistance as needed.
• Validate customer order information and generate purchase orders in the computer system.
• Cross-sell and suggest complementary products.
• Participate in internal and supplier training programs.
• Provide support to external representatives.
• Perform any other tasks required by the position.

Job requirements

• DEC or equivalent in electrical engineering, instrumentation and control or related fields.
• Experience in B2B sales/customer service in a technical field.
• Must be perfectly bilingual to meet the needs of a bilingual clientele.
• Experience in the field of industrial instrumentation.
• Proficiency in Powerpoint and its effective use to influence small to medium sized groups.
