Finance Manager

Our client is actively seeking an experienced and sharp Finance Manager to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance in a supervisory capacity. The successful candidate will have experience with leading the finance function in a client-facing business, excellent communication and people leadership skills, and will be great with technology and process improvement.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage all Finance, Accounting, and Tax functions for the organization.
• Develop and maintain budgets, forecasting, analysis, and reporting.
• Oversee a team of direct reports; delegate, review and approve their work and performance.
• Prepare and present financial reports and packages to senior leadership, and provide strategic support.
• Participate in internal and external audits and maintain strong relationships with auditors and other vendors.
• Collaborate with other departments to improve financial processes.
• Oversee and work closely with IT to evaluate systems, software, and workflow, and implement process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 8+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally from a client-facing/service business
• People leadership experience and very strong interpersonal skills
• CPA Required
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
• Advanced Excel skills required
  • In general, strong IT and systems skills and able to leverage technology to improve processes
• High level of organization and detail orientation
• Strong communication skills
