Forklift operators

We are looking for forklift operators for our client in Burlington, has been an international leader in the produce industry. If you are someone who thrives in fast paced environement and have valid external forklift license and forklift experience-must apply.

Location: Burlington, ON

Shift: Typically Monday–Friday (Days or Afternoons)

Estimated Pay: $21.00 / hour

Preferred forklift exp: Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, and Walkie

Responsibilities
Equipment Operation: Safely operate Counterbalance, Raymond Reach, and Walkie forklifts to move pallets and inventory.
Inventory Management: Use RF scanners and computer systems to track product movement and ensure accurate inventory counts.
Loading/Unloading: Load finished products onto trailers and unload incoming shipments of raw produce or packaging materials.
Staging: Ensure products are staged on time for the daily production schedule and organized within the racking systems
Maintenance: Conduct daily pre-operational safety inspections on equipment and report any mechanical issues.

Qualifications
Experience: minimum 6 months of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or food production environment.
Certification: Valid forklift license/certification is preferred
Tech Savvy: Familiarity with RF scanners and basic WMS/ERP software.
Attention to Detail: Precision in stacking and pulling orders to prevent product damage.
Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively and stand for the duration of an 8–10 hour shift.
Environment: Comfortable working in temperature-regulated environments (coolers), if required.
