Financial Controller - Leading Firm in QC - Downtown Do you thrive on challenges and have the skills to handle them successfully? Here's an outstanding opportunity for a Financial Controller to take on a key role within a leading organization and work closely with the General Manager. YOUR ROLE:Your main responsibilities will include:Collaborating with senior management to oversee the company's financial, accounting, and tax functions;Performing in-depth accounting analyses and providing strategic recommendations;Preparing and reviewing financial statements in compliance with applicable accounting standards;Contributing to the annual budgeting process, including preparation, review, and monitoring of budgets;Managing and guiding the accounting team to ensure operational efficiency;Contributing to optimization initiatives.SKILLS REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration;Proven experience in an accounting or financial controller role;Experience in a professional services environment is considered an asset;CPA designation;Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial standards, and tax regulations;Advanced skills in financial analysis and budget management;Strong interest in emerging trends and process optimization;Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external stakeholders;Good leadership skills. Team management experience is an asset;Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written;Proficiency in accounting and financial software, as well as common office tools.INTERESTED IN THIS CHALLENGE?
