At McGill St Laurent, through Grain St Laurent and CWP Wood, we buy and sell physical lumber and agricultural products across North America.

This is not financial trading.

This is hands-on commodity buying, selling, and execution in real markets, with real shipments.

Deals can close in one day.

Prices move daily.

Shipments can take months.

You don’t just close deals — you own them from negotiation to final delivery.

What You’ll Do Prospect and develop suppliers and buyers Negotiate purchase and resale pricing Close deals in short sales cycles (1 day) Protect margins in a fast-moving pricing environment Stay involved post-sale to ensure smooth logistics and execution Build and grow your book of business across North America Who You Are Natural hunter who loves the chase Social, confident, and relationship-driven Entrepreneurial and competitive Comfortable making fast decisions under pressure Organized enough to manage both closing and follow-through Minimum 2 years managing full B2B sales cycles Bilingual (French & English) Experience in commodities, distribution, logistics, construction materials, or agriculture is an asset.

C’est du concret : acheter, négocier, vendre et livrer de vrais produits, sur de vrais marchés.

Un deal peut se conclure en une journée.

Les prix bougent tous les jours.

Les expéditions peuvent s’échelonner sur plusieurs mois.

Ici, tu ne fais pas que closer — tu prends le deal en charge du premier appel jusqu’à la livraison finale.

Ce que tu vas faire Développer ton réseau de fournisseurs et d’acheteurs Négocier les prix d’achat et de revente Conclure des transactions rapides (parfois en 24h) Protéger tes marges dans un marché qui évolue constamment Assurer le suivi des expéditions pour éviter les imprévus Bâtir et faire grandir ton propre portefeuille d’affaires Le profil qu’on cherche Tu es un(e) vrai(e) chasseur(se) et tu aimes gagner Tu es sociable, confiant(e) et à l’aise au téléphone Tu as un esprit entrepreneurial — tu penses comme un(e) propriétaire Tu es capable de décider vite et d’assumer Tu es structuré(e) et impliqué(e) jusqu’à la livraison Tu as minimum 2 ans d’expérience en cycle de vente B2B complet Tu es bilingue (français & anglais) Une expérience en commodités, distribution, logistique, matériaux ou agriculture est un atout.
