Our products are trusted globally for their accuracy and reliability in environmental and hydrogeological applications. We are expanding our R&D team to support upcoming product developments, including next generation water quality and data logging systems. Position Overview We are seeking an Embedded Design Engineer with strong expertise in sensor integration and embedded systems. In this role, you will design, develop, and integrate embedded hardware and firmware solutions across the full product lifecycle-from concept and prototyping to production and validation-helping deliver rugged, low power, and connected devices for environmental applications. Key Responsibilities Design analog/digital circuits for embedded systems, including sensor signal conditioning and data acquisition. Integrate environmental sensors (pressure, temperature, conductivity, DO, pH, turbidity, etc.) into embedded platforms. Collaborate on PCB design and sensor interface circuitry with a focus on low power and field reliability. Develop and debug firmware (C/C++) for microcontrollers (ARM Cortex M, STM32, ESP32, etc.) to acquire, process, and transmit sensor data. Conduct sensor calibration, signal conditioning, and data filtering for accuracy and stability. Perform system level integration and debugging using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, analyzers, environmental test setups). Support prototype design, validation, and transition to production. Troubleshoot and optimize existing hardware/firmware for performance and reliability. Document designs, test results, and validation processes. Collaborate with software, mechanical, and product teams for seamless integration. Stay current with emerging sensor and embedded design technologies. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's in Electrical, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. 3 5 years of experience in embedded electronics design or hardware/firmware co development. Strong skills in embedded C/C++, microcontrollers, and RTOS based development. Experience with interfaces: I C, SPI, UART, USB, RS 485, DAC, ADC. Solid understanding of analog/digital circuit design, sensor interfacing, and data acquisition. Proficiency in multi layer PCB layout design. Familiarity with signal conditioning, filtering, and sensor calibration. Hands on experience with lab instruments (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.). Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience in environmental monitoring, water instrumentation, or scientific devices. Background in low power embedded design for long term field deployments. Knowledge of data logging, telemetry, or IoT protocols (BLE, LoRa, LTE, Wi Fi).
