What will you be doing?
Holding Delegated Design Authority from the Chief Engineer.
Leading a team of technical personnel responsible for delivering multi-disciplinary engineering and engineering designs.
Collaborating with D&ER managers and section leads to deliver Engineering Services for CRL, DP, G-1, NPD, and Site Infrastructure—on time and on budget—while balancing technical excellence and execution.
What we are looking for
A degree from an accredited university in engineering, and holds Professional Engineering License (P.Eng.) status in the province of Ontario.
Minimum of 10 years of experience managing complex technical projects in the Canadian nuclear industry, including management of engineering resources.
Knowledgeable of engineering processes and procedures such as Engineering Change Control, Design Authority and Design Engineering (DADE), Design Planning, Contracts, Contractor Management and Oversight of Engineering Agencies.
Reliability Status with Site Access Security Clearance (SASC), which has a minimum requirement of 3-5 years of verifiable history in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United States and / or the United Kingdom. CNL implements security screening in accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat's “Standard on Security Screening” and the “Policy on Government Security.”
