Job description

Our Ideal QA AnalystOur ideal QA Analyst is excited by the opportunity to be part of a collaborative development team building and improving products from the ground up. You enjoy working on greenfield projects where your ideas, insights, and attention to detail help shape high-quality software and ensure a strong user experience.You are a clear and effective communicator who works well with developers, product teams, and other stakeholders to identify issues, document them clearly, and help move solutions forward. Strong organizational skills come naturally to you, and you are comfortable managing multiple test cases and priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and detail.You approach challenges with curiosity and a problem-solving mindset, always looking for ways to improve processes and identify potential issues before they reach customers. You enjoy turning ideas into practical testing strategies that contribute to building reliable and well-performing products.Most importantly, you are eager to learn and grow. Additional benefits include:Full medical, dental, and extended health coverageWellness allowanceHybrid work schedule (3 from home, 2 in office)RRSP/TFSA matching programExtensive paid training and professional development opportunitiesEducational allowanceCasual office environmentResponsibilitiesParticipate in strategic discussions around the design of new products and servicesContribute to the design and development of new software systemsTest new features and systems, identifying issues and implementing fixesCollaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to understand and translate business requirementsSupport the Prevue Support team in responding to technical questions or inquiries as neededQualificationsExperience working with .NET Core, Entity Framework, C#, MVC, Visual Studio, and other Microsoft-centric development technologiesExperience with automated testing suites and reporting systems such as Playwright and AllureSolid understanding of software development concepts, design patterns, and object-oriented designDemonstrated proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptStrong working knowledge of Windows and PC environmentsExcellent written and spoken English communication skillsNice-to-Have SkillsExperience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)Experience in software testing and quality assuranceExperience with SQL Server, MySQL, or other relational databasesExposure to graphics, design, or UI/UX principlesAbout PrevuePrevue HR is more than a software company.
