Job description
We are partnering with a well‑established organization in the property management sector to recruit an experienced Maintenance Manager. This role offers the opportunity to lead technical operations, improve building performance, and support the safety andfort of residents across a diverse portfolio of properties.
Our client is seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to develop and oversee preventative maintenance programs, ensure timely resolution of work orders, and guide a team responsible for general repairs, safety procedures, and ongoing site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct property inspections, prepare reports, and rmend improvement plans.
  • Manage and close outstanding work orders, collaborating closely with property leadership teams.
  • Supervise maintenance staff in performing routine maintenance, minor repairs, fire safety procedures, and scheduled servicing.
  • Deliver training to new team members and provide annual safety and technical refreshers to staff.
  • Support annual fire safety plan reviews, quarterly fire drills, and elevator testing.
  • Assist in obtaining or renewing certifications, contracts, and regulatory documentation.
  • Perform property walkthroughs to ensurepliance and report deficiencies.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to support all functional areas effectively.
Qualifications & Skills
  • 5+ years of maintenance and repair experience, particularly with high‑rise mechanical systems.
  • 3+ years of experience in property or facility maintenance.
  • Strongmunication, leadership, and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Solid understanding of health & safety regulations, including WHMIS.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and on‑call as needed.
  • Ability to multitask and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
  • BES II certification is an asset.

Education
  • College diploma or apprenticeship in a related field.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience.
