The General Manager will oversee the operational, financial, and strategic direction of a large 24/7 Emergency and Referral Veterinary Hospital. This is a senior leadership position designed for professionals with extensive experience working within multidisciplinary veterinary teams.
Unlike traditional clinical roles, this position focuses on operational excellence, financial management, team leadership, and strategic growth planning. The successful candidate will work closely with the Medical Director, specialists, clinicians, and hospital leadership teams to ensure the highest standards of patient care, client experience, and staff engagement.
The role carries full profit-and-loss responsibility and includes oversight of staffing structures, budget management, operational efficiency, and expansion of clinical services. In addition to operational leadership, the General Manager will play a vital role in fostering a positive workplace culture through mentorship, professional development, and staff retention initiatives.
