Our deli and cafe clerk make our guests’ day through conversation, connection and laughter. It is more than just serving guests efficiently and accurately, it is doing so with a genuine interest in fostering community with our Lepp Farm Family. Between serving guests, making sandwiches, serving up lattes and more, and working through the daily tasks, there’s never a dull moment. Performance Expectations
Our deli and cafe clerk provide a great guest experience by engaging guests in an authentic, energetic way, getting people excited about our bakery and deli offerings. Our team cares about providing guests with great food in a great environment, working on setting up and presenting the deli case in an appetizing way for guests to learn about our product, while taking care of the cleanliness of the cafe and responding to guest needs in our seating area.
Successful deli and cafe clerk are masters of multi-tasking, making incredible sandwiches and helping guests make charcuterie selections. This position also involves preparing catering and wholesale orders, and then providing delivery via the Bakehouse van for catering orders, as well as the wholesale orders to Lepp Farm Market. Preparing, packaging and placing orders into the Bakehouse Van for delivery will have you working quickly and doing some heavy lifting! Providing a great guest experience also includes delivery that is timely and with a smile. Winning as a team means filling in wherever needed, whenever possible.
Role Requirements
Relevant experience is always great, especially with retail and hospitality experience, working directly with customers. We are looking for those who are keen to learn and want to grow in their experience, able to work both independently/autonomously as well as collaboratively with team members.
