Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Helper. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. This role is essential in ensuring smooth kitchen operations and delivering quality meals to our customers. Prior experience in the food industry or restaurant setting is preferred. A strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures is essential to uphold our high standards. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards Support cooking activities by preparing ingredients and assisting chefs during meal service Handle food safely, ensuring proper storage, sanitation, and cleanliness in compliance with health regulations Serve food to customers or staff in a courteous and efficient manner Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas throughout shifts Help with dishwashing, waste disposal, and restocking supplies as needed Follow all safety protocols related to food handling and kitchen operations Experience Previous experience in food service, restaurant work, or the food industry is preferred Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking, and meal assembly is advantageous Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques is highly desirable Experience working in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is beneficial Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and follow instructions diligently Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.20-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits: Casual dress Discounted or free food On-site parking Store discount Work Location: In person
