Who You Are
You can maintain the highest standards of cleanliness during the whole cooking process. You have experience in a professional kitchen and are able to accurately follow recipes. You are familiar with traditional cooking methods and also modern techniques such as sous-vide and combi ovens.
This position would report into the Sous Chef, where you will be cooking in our dedicated Hot and Cold Kitchen operations, which will be launching our new Ready to Eat direct to consumer product line of appetizers, sauces, soups, and meals.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintain a positive and professional attitude toward work and teamwork.
Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and complete work orders as assigned by the Lead or Supervisor.
Take full accountability for product quality, taste, and presentation while ensuring orders are completed accurately and on time within a CFIA-registered facility.
What We Are Looking For
Kitchen experience or experience in a high-volume food production environment is an asset.
Comfortable working in refrigerated environments (0–4 °C).
Strong cutting and knife skills.
A proactive problem-solver who sees challenges as opportunities to improve processes.
Strong communication skills with the ability to share information clearly and work effectively with different team members.
Able to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and consistency.
Able to lift up to 20 lbs.
What You Can Expect
Hourly Wage: $18.03.
Shift Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
