We are changing the way 3D data is consumed and analyzed. Our technology is being used for detailed analysis of the real world, at an unprecedented scale. We are seeking a Product Owner to join our Customer Success team to support our next generation technology and architecture utilizing advanced algorithms and machine learning technology. We are a high growth company, and full of opportunities for advancement.
Responsibilities:
Business Development & Customer Engagement
- Be an expert in our SOLV3D platform and products, data processing, and 3D data processing using state of the art tools for visualization and data processing.
- Support business development by meeting with customers, following leads, customer demos, and solutions engineering
- Lead structured customer discovery (interviews, dataset, surveys, usage analytics) to validate problems, evaluate opportunities, and test solutions before we build.
- Work with Customer Success to onboard customers and define customer workflows and problem statements and translate into tools to address customer needs.
Product Strategy & Roadmap
- Build and maintain a prioritized, outcome‑oriented backlog using value, risk, effort, and evidence (quant + qual) to sequence work.
- Author user stories, acceptance criteria, and definition of done; maintain a healthy backlog and transparent priorities.
- Run or participate in key sprint activities (refinement, sprint planning, reviews, retros) and remove blockers to keep teams shipping.
Customer Success & Support
- Drive resolution of critical escalations with Customer Success; analyze root causes and ensure systemic fixes land on the roadmap.
- Maintain a clear view of customer segments, personas, and priority use cases, ensuring our roadmap unlocks measurable value.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (Computer science, Engineering, Physics) or diploma (GIS, Geomatics)
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with customer solutions, including customer support, and developing custom customer solutions.
- Experience with Agile / Scrum teams writing user stories
- Experience with data processing and analysis of remote sensing data specifically LiDAR & optical sensors
- Experience with drone, mobile, or aerial datasets including raster, vector, and point cloud data
- Experience with GIS software such as QGIS, GlobalMapper, FME, or ArcGIS
- Experience with command line tools, batch files, and scripts
Nice to haves:
- Experience writing software scripting in C++, python, or java an asset
- Experience with machine learning, neural networks, computer vision, or data science an asset
- Experience with AWS or cloud technology an asset

Work Environment:
- Remote-first role with flexibility for candidates based in Calgary, AB or Toronto, ON.
