Job description
About the Opportunity
  • Review and validate incoming project expenditure claim requests for accuracy, completeness, and policy compliance prior to payment processing
  • Assess submitted program budgets to ensure alignment with eligible expense guidelines and organizational policy
  • Analyze program-level commitments and spending trends to support effective financial oversight
  • Participate in financial close processes, providing insight into trends, anomalies, and significant transactions
  • Ensure accurate recognition of revenue in accordance with GAAP; maintain accurate expense records including accruals and reconciliations
  • Translate complex financial data into concise, accessible reports for leadership and other stakeholders
  • Respond to financial inquiries from internal and external contacts, providing timely and well-supported guidance
  • Generate and review financial and program-related reports to inform strategic and operational decision-making
  • Assist with balancing workload across the team by supporting various process workflows as needed
  • Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and operational efficiency through regular analysis
  • Support audit preparation by assembling documentation and schedules as directed by senior finance leadership
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments to ensure accurate reporting and compliance
  • Reconcile project expenditure data across internal systems, including ERP and MIS platforms
  • Perform other finance-related duties and project support as assigned

About You
  • 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, program accounting, or a related role
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite or similar financial software
  • Familiarity with project-based financial tracking and reporting
  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial controls
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay Range
$27 - $29/ hour
