Responsibilities

Child and Youth Care Workers play an integral role in caring for and providing a safe and stable home environment for children and youth in residential care. As an influential role model, you build effective relationships with children and youth through a trauma‑informed lens. With your savvy decision‑making and problem‑solving skills, you'll bring a positive attitude and caring personality to our team, roll up your sleeves, and jump into our provided training while knowing that your work makes a difference.

Qualifications

• A Child and Youth Care certification or degree and diploma is preferred.
• Experience working with children and youth from trauma or with various complex needs is considered an asset.
• A driver's license, Record of Conduct and Vulnerable Sector Check, First Aid Certificate, and Children, Seniors and Social Development (CSSD) Record Check is required.
