Inside Sales Spares Coordinator

Reporting to the Spare Parts Supervisor, the Inside Sales Spares Coordinator is responsible for following up with quotes, orders, customer complaints and working with internal stake holders. Work is performed with some latitude for independent judgment and is reviewed periodically to assure conformity with departmental policies and procedures.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Providing exceptional customer service to our clients, and internal departments.
- Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships through phone calls, emails, and in-person meetings during customer visits.
- Serving as the key accounts coordinator, both internally and externally, for collecting and communicating essential data and following up as needed.
- Documenting and proactively planning for potential bottlenecks or issues during the quote and order processes.
- Supporting the Outside Sales Team specific to Customer Services by providing efficient and timely administrative support.
- Preparing and maintaining various reports using Excel, Projects 365 and ERP skills.
- Follow up with OE customers and focus on recommended spares project plans and progress, prepare and submit accurate and timely quotes for machine spare parts.
- Provide technical assistance to team members in finding the proper part numbers for the spares required.
- Order tracking and auditing, including expediting all purchased and manufactured parts with Purchasing/Manufacturing Department as required, meeting the timely shipments of all spares orders.
- Advise customers when orders are not being satisfied according to committed delivery date.
- Prepare proposals for recommended and critical spare parts list.
- Evaluate parts costs in comparison to current pricing looking for opportunities to increase margins through either cost reduction or price increases.
- Support milestones and tasks defined in the Strategic Action Plans set by Mpac.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in mechanical design or millwright. Experience with packaging equipment is highly advantageous.
- Knowledgeable in reading and understanding equipment drawings, pneumatic schematics and symbols.
