Robotic Weld Technician

We are looking for a skilled Robotic Weld Technician with expertise in welding to support and optimize automated and manual welding operations in our client's manufacturing facility in New Tecumseth, ON region.

Pay - 32$-$37/hr

Shift - Rotational

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, set up, and troubleshoot manual and robotic welding systems.

• Perform and support PLC programming and modifications for automated welding processes.

• Conduct inspections and ensure weld quality aligns with engineering and safety standards.

• Analyze and resolve welding defects and process deviations.

• Collaborate with engineering to develop and optimize welding procedures.

• Maintain welding fixtures, jigs, and related tooling.

• Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on welding and automation equipment.

• Document weld parameters, inspections, and repair work accurately.

• Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.

Qualifications:

• Post-secondary education in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or a related technical field.

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a weld technician or related automation role.

• Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and troubleshooting.

• Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and/or resistance welding techniques.

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
