We are looking for a skilled Robotic Weld Technician with expertise in welding to support and optimize automated and manual welding operations in our client's manufacturing facility in New Tecumseth, ON region.
Pay - 32$-$37/hr
Shift - Rotational
Key Responsibilities:
Install, set up, and troubleshoot manual and robotic welding systems.
Perform and support PLC programming and modifications for automated welding processes.
Conduct inspections and ensure weld quality aligns with engineering and safety standards.
Analyze and resolve welding defects and process deviations.
Collaborate with engineering to develop and optimize welding procedures.
Maintain welding fixtures, jigs, and related tooling.
Perform preventive maintenance and diagnostics on welding and automation equipment.
Document weld parameters, inspections, and repair work accurately.
Provide technical support to production and maintenance teams.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Electrical, Mechanical, Robotics, or a related technical field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a weld technician or related automation role.
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens) and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with MIG, TIG, and/or resistance welding techniques.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols.
