Accounts Receivable Manager
- Permanent
- Manage the full tuition billing cycle, including schedule changes, discounts, credits, and late fees
- Oversee payment processing (online portals, pre-authorized payments, subsidies)
- Monitor AR aging and lead collection efforts
- Ensure compliance for childcare subsidies and government funding programs
- Partner with Center Directors to maintain accurate attendance and enrollment data
- Handle escalated billing concerns and communicate with families in a supportive, professional manner
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of five AR/billing staff
- Prepare AR reports, forecasts, and delinquency summaries
- Maintain financial controls and support audits
- Ad hoc tasks provided by management
About You
- 3–5 years Accounts Receivable experience (childcare or service-based industry preferred)
- Familiarity with childcare billing platforms (Kindertales) is an asset
- Familiarity with accounting principles (debits, credits, journal entries etc..)
- Strong understanding of AR processes, subsidies, and tuition billing
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills
Salary Range
$75,000 - $100,000 /year
