As Data Infrastructure Lead, you will design and optimize enterprise-wide data infrastructure that powers digital services and business intelligence across the department.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager – Data Operations, you will:

• Build and maintain data pipelines, cloud storage, and data warehouses.
• Assess existing infrastructure and develop a roadmap for improvement.
• Implement orchestration platforms and automation tools for reliable data movement.
• Organize structured and unstructured data into analyst-friendly formats.
• Establish standards and best practices for data infrastructure development.

This role combines technical expertise with leadership and communication skills to advance Advanced Education’s data management maturity.

Key Responsibilities

Data Infrastructure Development

• Design and implement pipelines from multiple sources to cloud storage and data warehouse.
• Automate error reporting and maintain tooling libraries for quality assurance.
• Support transformation tools like DBT for centralized data operations.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

• Mentor team members on infrastructure skills and validate pipeline functionality.
• Crosstrain with data modelling and reporting colleagues for business continuity.
• Assist in developing frameworks, governance processes, and hiring plans.

Planning & Standards

• Establish infrastructure standards and documentation.
• Prioritize development work based on business needs and technical dependencies.
• Maintain a roadmap for infrastructure improvements and build a resource library.

• Experience with data orchestration, automation, and transformation tools.
