Beacon is expanding our team under BC’s new model of care for Assisted Living and are hiring
two Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) at Parry Place. This is a unique opportunity to join a newly formed team and help shape how care is delivered as the program transitions. In this rewarding role, you’ll provide nursing care, guide and support Health Care Assistants, and play a key part in ensuring residents live with dignity, independence, and comfort in a safe and respectful environment.
Days/Hours of Work: 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, 4 days on, 4 days off. There will be opportunities to pick up additional shifts for vacation and sick coverage.

What You’ll Do - Provide nursing care within LPN scope of practice, policies, and Assisted Living regulations.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care plans.
- Administer and manage medications per BC guidelines.
- Respond to health changes, urgent care needs, and emergencies.
- Mentor and support Health Care Assistants in safe care practices.
- Collaborate with families, physicians, and community health professionals.
- Maintain accurate records and regulatory compliance.
- Other duties as required.
What You Bring - Completion of a recognized Practical Nursing program.
- Current registration with the BCCNM in good standing.
- Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or community health
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work with older adults, including those with dementia.
