Spring Program Staff
Camp Menesetung – Who We Are: Overnight Camp, Day Camp, Outdoor Ed. Centre on the shore of Lake Huron – just north of Goderich, Ontario.
Camp Menesetung (30 staff, 70-100 campers/week) is a non-profit charity that seeks to lead the way in creating inclusive, healthy, and sustainable community through the Spirit of outdoor adventure. Camp Menesetung is affiliated with the United Church of Canada and we welcome and celebrate staff and campers of all faith and non-faith backgrounds.

Required Qualifications: Age: 18+, Standard First Aid/CPR-C (by May 21, 2026), clean vulnerable sector police record check.
Salary: $17.60/hour, 20-30+ hours per week depending on availability. For weekend retreats: $153 + Room & Board for a Friday evening-Sunday afternoon retreat.
Employment Dates: Spring Sessions (Mid-May & June as Scheduled);
Responsibilities: As a Spring Program Staff, you are responsible for providing safe, fun, educational and experiential programming to groups of children and youth as scheduled during May & June, and supporting your fellow staff members. All Spring Program Staff must be prepared to deliver programming at any of our programming areas including (but not limited to) archery, low ropes, sports & games, arts & crafts, campfire, rock wall (with training), and environmental education, step up for needed tasks, and seek out opportunities to further contribute to Menesetung success. Time allowing Spring Program Staff may also contribute to the development of programs for our overnight and day campers in preparation for the summer season.
