Our client, Louenhide North America, is a handbag and accessory wholesale and retail distributor located in beautiful Kelowna, BC. As a company experiencing significant growth and launching into new markets, they are seeking a high energy, collaborative individual to work in shipping and receiving.
As the successful candidate for this role, you will take ownership and pride in attention to detail, working with and even to improve warehouse protocols and systems. You will be responsible for ensuring that the warehouse always remains meticulously organized, and to ensure all team members can come in and easily find what they are looking for. You will be responsible for assisting in packing, inventory, receiving and general tasks as required. Your keen eye for detail and drive for customer satisfaction will ensure products are well looked after and discrepancies are corrected immediately.

Other responsibilities will include:
· Ensuring all inventory protocols are observed and accurately captured (shipping receipts, inventory counts, data entry, etc.);
· Ensuring orders are packed and shipped accurately and operating procedures are maintained;
· Completing inventory counts and creation of required reports;
· Checking all stock for wear or damage and report faults and discrepancies accordingly;
· Receiving and putting away inventory that comes into the warehouse;
· Picking and packing orders in the most efficient and cost-effective manner;
· Additional duties as required.
· Previous experience working in a warehouse or distribution center considered an asset;
· Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering information;
· Proven ability to problem solve and make sound decisions;
· Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to prioritize;
· Ability to collaborate with team members and assist with ongoing business needs;
· Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team;
· Ability to work on tight deadlines;
· Positive disposition and desire to dig in, step up and work in collaboration with the owner to build her business in a meaningful way.
This is a role that requires walking, standing, sitting and lifting boxes up to 50 lbs independently. This position full time until August 1, 2026, with potential for permanent thereafter. We anticipate offering the successful candidate a competitive rate of $22-25 per hour based on experience. We are looking to fill the role as soon as possible.
