Camp Counsellor/Digital Marketing Programmer

Camp Menesetung – Who We Are: Overnight Camp, Day Camp, Outdoor Ed. Centre on the shore of Lake Huron – just north of Goderich, Ontario.

Camp Menesetung (30 staff, 70-100 campers/week) is a non-profit charity that seeks to lead the way in creating inclusive, healthy, and sustainable community through the Spirit of outdoor adventure. Required Qualifications: Age: 17+, Standard First Aid/CPR-C (by July 2026), clean vulnerable sector police check (for those 18+ only).

Salary: Dependent on experience and certifications, between $413.10-$630/week + Room&Board

Employment Dates: June 28th-August 22nd, 2026, living on site Sunday (12pm) – Friday (following closing approx. 9pm); shorter term contracts available with prior discussion.

Responsibilities: The Digital Marketing Counsellor will be a Cabin Counsellor with the added responsibility of photography, video, editing, and social media work that positively highlights Camp Menesetung. In addition, they will be responsible for: engaging, keeping safe, and meeting the needs of the campers in their care; and creating and delivering engaging, age-appropriate, inclusive, themed, FUN for campers throughout their week. Being a Cabin Counsellor is about being an amazing positive role model who knows how to have fun, how to listen, and how to help. This position is a multifaceted role, balancing counsellor care responsibilities, with program delivery responsibilities. This position reports to the Leadership Team and Camp Coordinator.
