Agile Project Manager – Applications Delivery
6-Month Contract (Likely Extension) | Hybrid – 2 onsite days weekly in the Tri-City region
We are seeking an Agile Project Manager to support a busy applications delivery team managing a high volume of small to mid-sized initiatives. The environment follows Scaled Agile practices and requires a tactical, delivery-focused leader who can bring structure, accountability, and consistency to execution. The role is hands-on and outcome-driven, with a strong emphasis on Jira discipline, cross-team coordination, and predictable delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day delivery across multiple small projects and enhancements
Lead Agile ceremonies and keep teams aligned to sprint commitments
Support Product Owners with backlog refinement, prioritization, and sprint planning
Maintain Jira hygiene, reporting accuracy, dashboards, and stakeholder visibility
Track risks, dependencies, and blockers; drive resolution and escalate when needed
Coordinate across distributed teams in Canada, the US, and offshore India
Provide structured, concise updates to leadership and cross-functional partners
Ensure delivery timelines are met across a fast-moving portfolio
Current Work Includes
Enhancements and improvements across core business applications
A major platform implementation within a complex operational ecosystem
Cross-functional initiatives involving multiple teams and systems
Experience with enterprise applications or ERP/TMS/SAP-type systems is helpful but not required
Ideal Profile
Proven experience as an Agile Project Manager or Scrum Master in a Scaled Agile environment
Strong Jira management, reporting, and dashboarding skills
Comfortable managing multiple concurrent initiatives with tight timelines
Skilled at supporting teams newer to Agile and reinforcing delivery discipline
Confident leading meetings, driving accountability, and presenting updates
Highly organized, proactive, and execution-focused
