You are an experienced Senior Cost Manager - Electrical with 10+ years experience, seeking your next step or are currently working in a similar role within a comparable environment. You’re motivated to join a growing and dynamic team.

The ideal candidate is self-motivated, driven, and capable of working both independently and as part of a team. In this impactful role, you will be providing leadership and direction, actively embedding and promoting the purpose, values, and vision of Turner & Townsend.

Job Description

As a Senior Cost Manager - Electrical you will be involved in:

• Lead the preparation and management of cost estimates across all project phases.

• Develop and lead the implementation of cost reporting including cashflow analysis and change management.

• Drive value engineering and risk management initiatives.

• Provide expert advice on life cycle costing, benchmarking, and sustainability.

• Act as the primary client liaison for all cost-related matters.

• Mentor and support junior cost consultants and project team members.

• Contribute to business development and client relationship management.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cost management

• A recognized university degree (or equivalent) in a relevant subject with Canadian equivalency if obtained outside Canada (WES etc.)

• Membership of Relevant Professional Organizations such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS); The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS)

• Reliability clearance with the Government of Canada or ability to obtain it quickly.

• Knowledge of and experience using CostX is an asset

• Knowledge of and experience using Revit is an asset

• Demonstratable experience on at least two projects that have a total value of $100M+

The base salary range for this full-time role is $90, - $140, per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
