Senior Web Specialist

We are seeking a Senior Web Specialist to lead the development, analysis, and architectural design of complex, user-centric web initiatives. This role requires a hybrid expert who can bridge the gap between high-level Application Architecture and hands-on UI/UX Design. You will be responsible for ensuring that all digital products are not only technically robust and scalable but also meet the highest global standards for accessibility and mobile responsiveness.

Pay Rate: $360.28- $399.18/Diem

Responsibilities
- Develop and edit functionality for high-traffic websites using a diverse stack including Java, Ruby, Javascript, and HTML5/CSS3.

- Lead the design and implementation of microservices and cloud-based solutions. Assess system capacity and provide architectural recommendations for performance tuning.

- Create high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and mockups using Figma. Design interfaces for multiple languages and diverse audiences while ensuring brand consistency.

- Act as the subject matter expert for WCAG 2.0+ and ARIA implementation. Ensure all digital assets comply with the most stringent accessibility regulations and standards.

- Construct site taxonomies, develop metadata templates, and map content inventories to modernized templates.

- Work within a multi-disciplinary "build/run" team. Participate in scrum ceremonies, manage product backlogs, and contribute technical ideas during design sprints.

- Integrate web initiatives into existing templates and advise on the effectiveness of web presence through SEO and performance metrics.

Qualifications
- Extensive experience in HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, ASP, Ruby, and Java (Must Have).

- Hands-on expertise with modern UI design frameworks and design standards; Figma proficiency is a mandatory requirement.

- Proven experience with microservice design and modern cloud-based architectural principles.

- Expert knowledge of WCAG 2.0+, ARIA, and accessibility best practices for digital solutions.

- Extensive experience designing responsive interfaces specifically optimized for mobile devices.

- Familiarity with the LAMP stack and open-source initiatives such as WordPress, Drupal, Git, and Apache.

- Strong background in Agile/Scrum delivery and usability testing methodologies.
