Job Description

This role involves working in a busy distribution center where you pick and pack customer orders, handle materials safely, and support the smooth flow of goods throughout the facility. You will use RF scanners and other warehouse tools to ensure accurate order fulfillment while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work area.

Responsibilities

• Pick customer orders accurately and efficiently using RF scanners and other warehouse tools.
• Bag loose quantities of products and ensure all items are properly packaged for shipment.
• Bring picked and packed orders to designated staging areas in a timely manner.
• Perform general labor tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, and organizing materials.
• Handle materials safely, including consistently lifting items weighing 50 pounds or more.
• Maintain an organized work area to support efficient warehouse operations.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating in the distribution center.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production and accuracy goals.
• Assist with other warehouse duties as assigned, including inventory support and housekeeping tasks.

Essential Skills

• At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds or more throughout the shift.
• Experience picking orders in a warehouse or distribution environment.
• Proficiency using RF scanners for order picking and inventory handling.
• Experience with material handling tasks such as loading, unloading, and staging.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Ability to work effectively on a night/3rd shift schedule.

Work Environment

This position is based in a distribution center environment on the night/3rd shift, typically from 9:30 . to 6:00 . You will work in a fast-paced setting that involves standing, walking, lifting, and moving materials throughout the shift. The role requires regular use of RF scanners and other warehouse equipment, with a focus on safety and efficiency in all tasks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Woodbridge, ON.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.92 - $19.92/hr.
