IT Technician (Temporary position 1 year)

Summary: Under the supervision of the IT Director, the IT Technician performs IT support operations.

Principal tasks: Perform configurations, backups and updates on servers and workstations to ensure their operation and security; Take part in the production and updates of documentation related to the department; Receive, install, remove, configure, and take an inventory of electronic equipment and licenses; Respond to requests from various users; Take part in the problem-solving process related to computer applications; Provide advice and basic training to users.

Requisite Skills: College Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience; Proficiency in English & French (both spoken and written); Abilities in diagnosis and problem solving; Expertise in: Windows Server, Microsoft Windows, Active Directory, Microsoft Office365, Google G-Suite, Manage Engine, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, GitLab, Fortigate, Aruba, PowerShell, Ansible; Good knowledge about networking; Customer service oriented; Ability to learn new tools and environment Be able to physically come to our offices.

Given the nature of the position, you will need to be in the office 3 to 4 days a week.
