Our client is a leading General Contractor delivering complex, high profile industrial, and commercial across Eastern Canada. With a strong pipeline of recently awarded work and more on the horizon, they are investing intentionally in planning excellence, and that’s where you come in.

This is not a supporting act, but a critical role central to the success of how projects are planned, coordinated, and delivered from the ground up.

As the first dedicated Scheduler within the organization, you will play a pivotal role across projects and regions in:

• Building and managing master schedules for complex ICI projects using Primavera P6
• Working shoulder to shoulder with construction, operations, and project leadership to ensure schedules are realistic, executable, and respected
• Translating high level planning into clear trade sequencing that works in the real world
• Supporting teams through schedule updates, progress tracking, and risk mitigation through to project completion
• Helping evolve best practices in planning and scheduling as a shared function across the business

About You

The successful candidate will have the following:

• Are a self starter who takes ownership and thrives in environments where you can build something meaningful
• Have demonstrable experience working with a General Contractor on comparable industrial and commercial projects
• Are energized by complex, challenging builds and enjoy solving planning puzzles before they become site problems
• Bring a strong baseline understanding of how complex projects get built, and how to sequence trades effectively (or know how to confidently source, vet, and validate that information when needed)
• Have hands on experience using Primavera P6 to build, manage, and maintain project schedules
• Collaborate naturally with project managers, site teams, consultants, and trade partners
• Believe deeply in accountability, ensuring that schedules, safety, and quality never take a back seat to convenience
• Have a natural ability to build trust and strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Are curious by nature, finding genuine enjoyment in learning new methodologies and evolving your approach to construction planning
• Are growth minded, motivated by developing both your own skill set and the teams around you in pursuit of shared success
