Role Description

React Development

• Develop and maintain modular, reusable React components, ensuring best practices for code maintainability and performance.
  

• Implement state management solutions such as Redux and Context API to manage application state effectively.
  

• Utilize React lifecycle methods and hooks (e.g., useState, useEffect) to manage component state and side effects.
  

• Write unit and integration tests for React components using Jest and React Testing Library.
  

jQuery & Legacy Code Maintenance

• Maintain and refactor legacy code written in jQuery to ensure compatibility with modern React applications.
  

• Use jQuery for DOM manipulation when React is not feasible or when integrating third-party libraries dependent on jQuery.
  

• Implement event handling using jQuery where it is more appropriate than React.
  

Code Quality & Standards

• Follow coding standards, best practices, and development guidelines to ensure consistency and high-quality deliverables.
  

• Conduct regular code reviews to ensure adherence to standards and promote knowledge sharing across teams.
