A team player, you’re a relationship-builder who thrives on working with multiple stakeholders in a matrix environment.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Partner in & support the content development, execution, optimization and expansion of the national mass marketing stewardship program across the donor lifecycle to improve retention and support a best-in-class donor experience.
  • Create engaging and effective content to support stewardship, cultivation, and fundraising tactics across mass products, segments, and channels, such as post-campaign communications and standalone stewardship touchpoints
  • Support the development and execution of key donor account management communications including annual updates, copy and review support for tax receipts and autoresponders as needed across mass products, segments, and channels
  • Provide creative and strategic support for the development and implementation of new product journey experiences and expansion to new stewardship channels, including voicemail drops, scripts, and SMS tactics
  • Oversee the ongoing maintenance and annual review of mass marketing evergreen communications, including annual content refreshes and ad hoc required updates as they arise.

  • Keep up to date with stewardship communication performance statistics and contribute to the recommendation of strategic adjustments and strategies to improve engagement across the stewardship portfolio
  • Build key internal relationships across CCS to support the streamlined development of stewardship communications, including content verification and approvals, as well as to source content opportunities, facts and statistics
  • Liaise & partner with key stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve the donor experience
  • Provide project management and administrative support to the Donor Communications and Stewardship team, including acting as a backup for the team as needed
  • Contribute to the content development of new Mass Marketing initiatives
  • Work in compliance with the provisions of The Occupational Health & Safety Act and its regulations, and comply with the Canadian Cancer Society’s Health & Safety Policy
  • Contribute to our culture of diversity, inclusion, belonging and equity (DIBE) by ensuring that all staff feel represented, valued, and heard across all aspects of their identity, including gender, age, religion, ethnicity, nationality, race, and sexuality.
  • Other duties as assigned
