Job description
We are currently hiring for a Shunter for our client in Calgary, AB. Location: Calgary, AB Work days: Sunday to Wednesday Start time- 6 am. Job Responsibilities: Move and position trailers, containers, and trucks within the yard as directed. Perform regular yard checks to monitor trailer locations. Coordinate with dispatchers, drivers, and yard staff to ensure efficient flow of equipment. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of shunt trucks/trailers. Complete basic paperwork and maintain accurate records. Follow all safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents or delays. Job Requirements: Valid drivers license Prior experience of 2 years as a shunter is a requirement. Good backing skills are an asset. Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and yard operations. Documentation needed: Valid Driver's license Abstract (obtained within last 30 days) Criminal record check (obtained within the last 3 months) Pay rate- $24 per/hour Please reach out to us on 416-671-9476 or 437-994-7394 for further details.
