About the Opportunity We are looking to Hire 1 or 2 HVAC/ Refrigeration Service Technicians on behalf of a fast-growing, Canadian-owned mechanical contracting company that specializes in cutting-edge commercial and industrial refrigeration systems. Must have their 313A and License G1 or G2 Our client works with some of the biggest names in grocery, kitchen, cold storage, food processing, and institutional facilities—offering turnkey HVAC/R solutions that go far beyond the basics. Above Market Total Compensation - $80+/ HR Total Above-Market Hourly Pay – $62+/ HR based on experience and license level Overtime, On-Call & Emergency Pay – Company compensates generously for after-hours Company RRSP Plan – up to $8/HR contributed to your Retirement Full Benefits Package – Health, dental, and more Annual Company Benefit - $2500 for anything else not covered such as daycare, health programs etc. Company Vehicle + Gas Card – Take-home van and most expenses covered Phone & Tablet Provided – Stay connected and equipped on the road Full-time & Consistent Hours – All team members average 37.5 - 44 hours a week. Diverse Projects – ICI, Commercial & Industrial including supermarkets, cold storage, processors, institutions Service Based : 70% is service based/ 30% is install/project focused Tight-Knit Culture – Independent locally owned firm with leadership support Team has Tenure – Average number of employed years with my client is 12 Growing Team – Ambitious goals to nearly double in next 3 years Training & Growth – Technical development encouraged and funded Key Responsibilities Represent the company in a professional, courteous manner on every call Read, interpret, and maintain technical drawings and system specs Diagnose and repair complex HVAC/R systems including: refrigeration systems, walk-in coolers and walk-in chillers Condensers, chillers, compressors, boilers and hard water tanks Install and service motors, valves, pumps, thermostats, piping, and fittings Overhaul refrigeration/heating systems; repair or replace worn/faulty components Perform scheduled maintenance and 24/7 emergency service when required Ensure compliance with all safety, TSSA, and environmental regulations Supervise and mentor apprentices and share technical expertise Keep current on industry regulations, tech advancements, and best practices Complete service reports and maintain accurate documentation Follow all company policies and contribute to a safe, respectful jobsite Other duties as assigned What You Bring 313A Refrigeration License (mandatory) Gas Fitter 1 or 2 License (required) Ozone Depletion Prevention Card O.D.P. (Required) 5+ years HVAC/R service experience in commercial or industrial sectors Familiarity with low temp refrigeration Excellent troubleshooting and mechanical skills Strong communicator with customer-facing confidence Valid Ontario drivers license with clean abstract Ability to work independently or as part of a service team Thank you and look forward to receiving your application
