Position Description:
This role is hybrid and requires you to be at our downtown Toronto and/or Client office at a minimum 2 days per week - subject to change at any time.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Business Consultant to lead complex business transformation and process optimization initiatives. This role requires a strong ability to operate at both strategic and execution levels—partnering with senior stakeholders, shaping business vision, and delivering measurable outcomes. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in process excellence, change management, and stakeholder engagement, while mentoring team members and driving organizational impact through innovation and continuous improvement.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
• Lead large-scale, complex business transformation and process optimization initiatives across multiple business units.
• Define and drive strategic transformation roadmaps, ensuring alignment with organizational vision and long-term objectives.
• Analyze enterprise-wide processes to identify systemic inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for innovation.
• Design and implement future-state operating models that enhance efficiency, scalability, and customer outcomes.
• Engage and influence senior and executive stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and alignment on priorities.
• Facilitate executive-level workshops, strategy sessions, and governance forums to shape business direction and solutions.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of initiatives, ensuring timelines, quality, and measurable value realization.
• Lead comprehensive change management strategies, including communication, training, and adoption at scale.
• Establish and track KPIs, performance metrics, and success frameworks to ensure continuous improvement.
• Mentor and coach team members, fostering capability development, collaboration, and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and drive innovation opportunities, including digital transformation, automation, and emerging technologies
Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
• 8+ years of experience in business consulting, transformation, or strategic advisory roles.
• Proven ability to lead complex programs and deliver measurable business outcomes.
• Advanced expertise in business process re-engineering, operating model design, and optimization methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, BPM).
• Strong experience in stakeholder management at senior and executive levels, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
• Demonstrated leadership in change management and organizational transformation initiatives.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on data-driven decision-making.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams, priorities, and cross-functional teams in dynamic environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills, including delivering to executive audiences.
• Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) and process mapping tools (e.g., Visio).
• Familiarity with Agile, hybrid delivery models, and digital transformation initiatives (e.g., automation, AI, RPA).
