Are you passionate about gaming and experienced in billing, payments, or vendor management? Join our fast-growing gaming company in North York as a Billing & Payment Specialist and help support our global player community while driving revenue through strong payment partnerships.
Reporting to the Global Payment & Partnership Lead, the Billing & Payment Specialist manages our billing administration system (PayLetter) and oversees relationships with payment gateway vendors. You’ll support players with billing inquiries, troubleshoot payment issues, and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure competitive rates and revenue growth.
This is a hybrid position: 2 days per week in our North York office, 3 days remote.
Manage and analyze data within our billing system (PayLetter)
Support players with in-game currency issues and deposit page errors
Troubleshoot billing discrepancies and ensure accurate charges
Coordinate with PayLetter to manage system access and recommend improvements
Partner with new and existing payment vendors to review rates and marketing opportunities
Negotiate commission rates and contract terms to maximize revenue
Manage the full integration process between PayLetter and payment gateway vendors
Review contracts to ensure fair pricing and compliance with legal requirements
Identify revenue opportunities across different regions
Track marketing support agreements and follow up on funds owed
Prepare reports outlining vendor pay rates and sponsorship agreements
Maintain strong, professional vendor relationships
Respond to online support tickets related to billing, accounting, and in-game issues
Investigate player-submitted bug reports and escalate confirmed issues to QA
Review violation reports and take appropriate account action when necessary
Conduct account verifications for lost or compromised accounts
Troubleshoot player issues until fully resolved
Vendor contracts are negotiated at competitive commission rates
Marketing and sponsorship agreements generate measurable revenue
Player billing issues are resolved accurately and efficiently
Positive feedback from vendors and internal stakeholders
Strong collaboration with Live Operations, IT, and third-party partners
2+ years of experience in billing, payments, vendor management, or a similar role
Strong Excel and technical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven negotiation abilities
Strong time management and organizational skills
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Team player with strong interpersonal skills
