Vice President Engineering & Power Generation

The Opportunity

Responsible for managing the performance and growth of the Power Generation category including Sales, Service, Rental, Parts, Projects, Engineering, and full P&L.

The Role

• Maintain expert knowledge of existing and potential vendors and dealers and applications of the assigned PG category area
• Works with Power Gen Managers to align and deliver annual product sales targets by market, category and vendor
• Support Power Gen Managers and Dealer advisors by participating in meetings with vendors to negotiate contracts, rebates and special prices
• Work closely with Key Account Managers and End Market Leaders to manage national customers, support programs, sales initiatives and business growth
• Lead, coach and support a group of Managers including, Sales, Parts and services, Production, Engineering and Project Management
• Optimize operational efficiency and financial viability across engineering activities
• Contribute to executive reviews to validate that initiatives are aligned with business priorities and financially sustainable
• Maintain the ISO certification

The Candidate

Language: Fully bilingual (French & English)

Education: Bachelor degree in Business or Engineering required, MBA preferred

Work Experience: 7-10 years of related work experience

Knowledge: A successful track record in driving business development efforts related to setting and meeting sales and service targets;

Proficiency: Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint
