About The Role

The Clinical Team Leader will assist in organizing clinical activities and the clinical team members to ensure that clinical trial activities are conducted within respective trial timelines. The Clinical Team Leader will ensure clinical activities are executed in compliance with study protocol Good Clinical Practices (GCP) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)s.

What Youll Do Here

• Ensure the confidentiality of clinical trial participants and sponsors is respected.

• Act as a mentor and coach to clinical team members.

• Collaborate with management teams to complete staff scheduling and ensure staffing needs are met.

• Oversee and track the completion of regulatory documentation (i.e. DOA protocol training) to ensure staff are trained prior to performing clinical trial related activities.

• Monitor and communicate clinical trial progression to management team members.

• Maintain and advocate a high level of customer service and quality within the department.

• Train employees on clinical activities and tasks associated to their jobs needs.

• Perform clinical trial activities including but not limited to data collection safety measurements sample handling and in-house testing.

• Record adverse events and concomitant medication use and follow-up on on-going adverse events until resolution.

• Oversee clinical trial activity execution to ensure efficiency in activity completion.

• Document and/or report clinical trial related deviations.

• May assist in the resolution of data queries.

• Obtain track and/or treat volunteer complaints.

• Provide departmental supervisors/managers with feedback for performance reviews.

• Hold meetings with clinical members to communicate clinical trial needs and/or departmental objectives.

• Proactively communicate issues and/or problem resolutions to departmental supervisors and managers.

What Youll Need to Succeed

• High School diploma completed and related job experience required DEC preferred.

• 1-year minimum experience in the healthcare industry or in research.

• Demonstrated experience leading and supervising a team is considered an asset

• Excellent written and verbal communication in French and English

• Leadership interpersonal and organizational skills.

• Customer service focused able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Schedule will vary from 5:30am to 4 pm depending of the clinic needs.

• Available to work 1 every 2 weekends.

Fluency in English is an essential requirement for the position of Clinical Team Leader including but not limited to for the following reasons:

• The requirement to have study protocols designs and clinical research documents written and documented in English as required by industry regulatory agencies
