Job Title: UX/UI Developer - CAD & 3D Visualization
Location: Hybrid (1-2 days), Toronto, Canada

Rates: $45 to $50 CAD PH

Role Summary

We are hiring for this role, where the selected candidate will work on a client project focused on advanced CAD research and 3D visualization platforms. You will help design intuitive user experiences for complex engineering and AI-powered workflows. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys translating technical systems into clean, scalable, and user-friendly interfaces within enterprise web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead UX strategy and interaction design for advanced CAD research platforms
• Build and implement interactive decomposition canvas components using modern frontend frameworks
• Design Human Computer Interaction flows that support exploration of complex engineering systems
• Create structured requirement capture interfaces for guided user input workflows
• Define UX patterns for authentication flows and project persistence environments
• Design structured data editing interfaces aligned with enterprise usability standards
• Develop visualization controls for simulation outputs and 3D kinematic movement environments
• Collaborate with research scientists and engineering teams to simplify complex technical concepts into intuitive UI experiences
• Improve UX through iterative feedback, usability insights, and research validation

Must-Have Skills

• 3+ Years of professional UX/UI developer experience within web applications
• Strong portfolio showcasing complex workflow and interaction design
• Experience translating technical requirements into intuitive user interfaces
• Proven experience building enterprise-grade web interfaces using React and Next.js
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript
• Familiarity with 3D web visualization libraries such as Three.js
• Strong understanding of Human-Computer Interaction principles
• Experience designing responsive and adaptive interfaces
• Bachelor of Computer Science or a related technical discipline

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience designing UI for CAD systems or engineering workflows
• Exposure to data visualization or graph-based UI frameworks
• Experience working with AI-assisted development tools such as Copilotkit
• Python knowledge, particularly in AI or LLM-driven environments using LangGraph
